What's the difference between sunseeker sunscreen and other sunscreens?
Unlike sunscreens with chemical UV filters that absorb into your skin (and can reach the bloodstream), Sunseeker uses non-nano zinc oxide to form a physical barrier that sits on top of your skin to reflect and scatter UV rays - giving you safe, natural protection without harmful chemicals.
Why should I choose natural sunscreen over chemical sunscreen?
Natural sunscreens like Sunseeker protect without absorbing into the bloodstream and are therefore safer for your skin and the planet.
What makes Sunseeker Reef-Safe?
Sunseeker sunscreen is reef-safe because it is formulated without harmful chemicals like oxybenzone, octinoxate, and other reef-harming ingredients that have been banned in various parts of the world, including Hawaii, Palau, the US Virgin Islands, and several Pacific Island nations.
These chemicals have been proven to damage coral reefs by contributing to coral bleaching and disrupting marine ecosystems. Despite having the Great Barrier Reef - the largest living structure on Earth - right on Queensland's doorstep, Australia currently does not have guidelines or regulations in place to ban these harmful ingredients. At Sunseeker, we believe it’s time to revolutionise the way Australia views these toxic chemicals.
By choosing Sunseeker, you’re not only protecting your skin with non-toxic, natural ingredients, but you’re also joining us in our mission to lead the charge for a safer, reef-friendly future.
